Local Missions

God has planted us each where we are for a purpose – and that includes the places where we live, eat out, work, and take our kids to sports/school.

What if we didn’t just see these as places where we got things done, but instead, as fields ripe for the harvest where God can use us to transform lives by reaching people with the gospel right where we are? It would change everything!

Graceland is strongly committed to missions. Like the Church in Antioch of the book of Acts, we feel compelled to send out from our midst those who would minister GLOBALLY and LOCALLY. Our goal is to be a faith family of world-impacting disciples who are partnering with our brothers and sisters here in Kentuckiana and around the world to produce ever multiplying disciples all around our city, our country, and to the ends of the world.

Abundant Life Memorial Gardens, a sacred resting place, exists for the members of Graceland Baptist Church, as well as the community of Southern Indiana.

The atmosphere we have created at Abundant Life Memorial Gardens is intended to soften the grief of those who walk onto the property. Our staff understands grieving the loss of a loved one and will always show deep concern, providing care and assistance as needed.

ORPHAN CARE ALLIANCE

Simply put, James 1:27 describes pure and faultless religion as caring for orphans and widows. Acting on this Biblical invitation, OCA equips Christians and connects them with opportunities to care for fatherless children and family preservation. We desire to see every child have a home and know the love of a family with the body of Christ leading the efforts. Knowing that welcoming a child into your home is not for every family, OCA provides opportunities to engage in orphan care whether it’s adopting or advocating. orphancarealliance.org
